YouTube #11: Let’s bake vegan biscuits!

I’ve had requests for the recipe for the biscuits I featured in my 1940s video last month, so here it is! It’s adapted from the cinnamon snickerdoodles recipe in Ms Cupcake’s excellent ‘Naughtiest Vegan Cakes in Town book’, the link to which you’ll find… here!

– Dairy-free margerine 75g
– Vegetable fat / shortening 38g
– Caster sugar 125g
– Brown sugar 85g
– Plain flour 200g
– baking powder 1 tsp
– Bicarbonate of soda 1/4 tsp
– Ground cinnamon 1 tbsp
– Egg replacer 1.5 tsp
